70x73 cm. Acrylic on canvas. Perhaps my most conceptual piece. In each one of us there is an on-going conflict. Lethargy and complacency keep pulling us down, keep telling us to stay in our comfort zone. And on the other hand, a steely resolve keeps pulling us up. It tells us to push harder. It's strong and hard. Using rust and grey, I have tried to bring to life that conflict. Even the frame is part metallic grey, part rusty brown.
