Acrylic on canvas. This painting is inspired by the murals I saw in Italy, done by Michelangelo, Raphael and the old masters. Of course, it's my abstract take on it but I used the same earthy colors to create light and shadows. It stemmed from a question I had “What would’ve abstract expressionism looked like in the era of Goya, Raphael, Micheangelo?
